You are so smart for being here. Online giving is big and getting bigger every year. For example, take Giving Tuesday. According to Tom Hart of Philanthropy.com,
“Giving Tuesday showed strong growth on two fronts in 2014. The amount of cash raised increased 64 percent over 2013, according to one estimate. In addition, volunteerism is becoming an important part of the annual charity event.
Nonprofits raised nearly $46-million in 2014 according to early estimates by Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, produced in partnership with the Case Foundation. The event raised $28- million in 2013, according to Lilly.”
How can you activate your supporters and turn them into donors with your online giving campaign? We’ll talk about how to start to do that this week. Here’s what I have in store for you, this week.
Week 1. What is an online giving campaign?
This week we’ll learn about the elements of a multi-channel online fundraising campaign.
Those elements include

- And other ways you can get your supporters engaged.
We’ll learn the difference between Ask Emails versus relationship building emails. We’ll talk about email design, how to send a series of fundraising emails, and then how to take that content and repurpose it for your social media channels.
